This garden was designed as a space to enjoy alongside the property's UrbanPods wellness retreat, complete with sauna and outdoor shower.
A wellness retreat built around an Urban Pod. We had worked on this client’s large 1930s bungalow garden before, and the bottom of the plot had become overgrown.
The brief was a space to relax in properly. Urban Pods supplied the pod and the sauna, and we built the outdoor shower.
Sauna and shower sit at the heart of the space, with the wider garden designed around that same sense of stillness.
Running a water supply to the shower, and managing access to the site, were the two real challenges of the build — both required careful planning to solve without disrupting the finished garden's clean, considered feel.
